Installation

Vessel installation, above and below ground.

Domestic and commercial installations by our own engineers, with electrofusion-jointed PE pipework for underground supply runs. We deliver the vessel, set it down and connect it, so there is one team accountable for the result.

Metered estates

Bulk storage for multi-property sites.

Metered estates need several vessels installed together and jointed into a shared network. We handle the vessels, the lifting and the pipework, working alongside the developer and the LPG supplier.

Exchanges & uplifts

Swap or recover vessels, wherever they sit.

We swap existing vessels for new or refurbished ones and recover redundant vessels. Crane-mounted lorries let us lift over walls, hedges and outbuildings, so awkward gardens and yards are routine work.

Who installs, exchanges and removes LPG vessels?

Pressure Vessel Services (PVS) installs above-ground and underground LPG vessels, carries out vessel exchanges and uplifts, and moves vessels on its own crane lorries and haulage fleet, across the UK and worldwide, with Gas Safe registered engineers.

What types of installation do you carry out?

Domestic and commercial installations, above ground and underground, including vessel exchanges, metered estates and electrofusion-jointed pipework.

Do you work for LPG suppliers?

Yes. We work closely with the leading LPG providers in the UK on installations, exchanges, uplifts and deliveries.

Can you lift vessels on sites with restricted access?

Our crane-mounted lorries regularly lift vessels over walls, hedges and outbuildings. Email photos of the site to contact@pvslimited.com and we’ll advise on access.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across the UK and worldwide from our base in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Can you remove an old vessel and install a new one in the same job?

Yes. Vessel exchanges are carried out by one team: we uplift the existing vessel and install its new or refurbished replacement.
